[Review] Qwiki

I just read abt qwiki from a link posted by my friend in Google Buzz.

The idea is really great. But, I felt that it gathers information from a lot of places - I mean social networking sites, organises them and then presents as a video.
But, is gathering the information - a breach of privacy - which you might want others to view only if they are really deserved (have the pain to click and search)... I don't normally want others to know me unless there is a need to know :)

Mile Sur Mera Tum haara...

Mile Sur Mera Tumhara... is an excellent song. It brings out the national integrity.
I used to watch it in my childhood, dinn c it for a long time.. And now, whenever I watch it, I stay glued...

But, today on the eve of INDIA's Republic Day, the same song has been remade.
I was rather eager - but finally disappointed in what it turned out to be...
Primary reasons being -
1. Too lengthy.. While watching, I really felt when this song will be over
2. Comprised of great actors.. most of them from movie background and musicians...
I dinn see any common man in there... where as in the old song - there were fishermen, mahouts, tribals - which were missing here...
3. Artists have very long lines in the song
4. Music didn't appeal to me as it was in the original composition...

My Rating - 2/5

P.S: This is entirely personal and doesn't want to insult/degrade someone/something... :)

Political View

I don't have a good impression on our Politics...
Its like a highest govt. job... But, unlike any other job, I don't see any qualifications required for the job of 'politician'.

Normally, for any job - you seek a gradute/post graduate with x.x experience, skilled in certain areas etc.. However, when it comes to ruling our own country, there is no such criteria and I'm really upset with that.

There should be some essential qualifications that must be needed while contesting the elections. This change should be included in the law. The politicians should be responsible to all the spending they make - Like what we have in our company, any amount spent is being properly tracked.

Lets hope for a bright future of India... Jai Hind..!!

Tackling the Counterfeit Currency

I was just reading an article abt the counterfeit currency...
Even the bank ATMs dispose the fake currency, which could lead us to problems.

Instead of using cash everywhere - afford to using Credit/Debit cards. This would reduce the chances of becoming fooled by fake notes.
So, next time when you go to shopping/super market, use the cards instead of the cash. Pay your bills online.

I see that many of the fake notes are of the denomination - Rs 500/Rs 1000. So, normally - when you give the change to autowala/milkwala - use smaller currency rather than bigger ones.
The govt. should ask the business men to provide online/cashless trading to check these problems with fake currency.
